Zuma Para wood box

The Zuma Para storage box is a sturdy and functional storage box using thick solid wood and our signature corner hand grips cut out of the wood. Our unique grips make it easy to grab and move even with heavy loads. Store papers, books, cards, etc. These boxes are designed to slide in and out of specially sized compartments of the Zuma shelving units and the Zuma storage bench. They use soft felt glides on the underside to protect the wood. They look great when flush inside the shelving compartments or alone as well. These are sturdy storage boxes that look amazing!

We love using quality solid hardwoods because of the beauty, but we also love this specific engineered joint board wood because it is solid - no veneers used - and it repurposes otherwise scrapped pieces from a pre-consumer recycling process. Para wood is hardwood from Asia and is sustainably harvested. It is an eco-friendly solid wood board that focuses on the warmth and inviting grain and variation. We also use a natural hand-rubbed oil finish which soaks in leaving no residue and makes a durable surface and brings out the beauty of the wood. Using a natural oil finish makes it last a long time - surface nicks can easily be fixed - it is solid wood after all. It can truly last years and years as a premium durable piece and keep looking amazing! Our mission includes keeping our furniture designs out of the landfill.
